Music comes to me daily

Songs and lyrics have come to me since I was 8.

I remember everything about every song that has come to me. I estimate that the following songs represent 20% of all of the songs that have come to me that I worked at.

My Favorite Things

Joshua Tree in the warm winter sunshine
Skiing on Christmas without any lift lines
The smell of the forest while cross country skiing
These are a few of my favorite things!

Sunsets in Summer days are warm and long
Breakfast in bed after a night of love
Soothing massages with songs to sing
These are a few of my favorite things!

When the sun hides, and the fog comes
it can make me somewhat sad
I just remember my favorite things
Then I don't feel so bad

The smell of cedar and bristlecone campfire
Sight of an eagle soaring higher and higher
Hiking in mountains, rainbows in Spring
These are a few of my favorite things!

Midnight hikes under a sky full of stars
Meteor showers, Mercury and Mars
Sleeping in late and hearing birds sing
These are a few of my favorite things!

Seagulls cruising as waves break ashore
Bright orange sunsets and sand in my toes
Swimming in the ocean and walking the reefs
These are a few of my favorite things!

Making love to Mozarts sonatas
Soaring through life to Handel's Messiah
Dancing at home like royalty
These are a few of my favorite things!

When the beans burn, and the rain comes
And I'm not feeling so rad
I just remember my favorite things,
Then I don't feel so bad!
